I find it more likely than not that people have a relatively normal family.

Family issues are apparent in every family though, it really just depends on severity.

For instance, Riho’s parents are divorced and now she lives separately (seemingly cut off connection too). This I would consider a family problem, though in the states divorce is incredibly common as is living separately (no official divorce. Keep in mind common law is a thing)

Ouka tbh has a pretty normal family, as does Akane. While both have parents that pressure them to be some ideal (well, and they’re prestigious families), this is not at all far from the norm for Asian families. I wouldn’t consider these as family problems at all. Both have loving families and both have families that do, to some degree, now support their own life decisions.

No idea about Ami and Kiku (that’s her nickname right?) though.

MC has no family whatsoever left so perhaps he’s the most similar to Riho in that regard. Though, his all died so it’s a bit different. Though Hayato’s family I suppose is himself and 5 girls.

Intrusive thought: I play with my 1 year old nephew and play grab their hands and softly smack their face with it and say "why you slap yourself".

Just realized Ami's strong point (aside her tiddies) - she's honest. A bit dumb, but direct & sincere (and easy to please). Hayato was able to "tame" her, she's still a bit childish but she's only 16, it's ok. Those girls are complicated and demanding, while Ami is quite simple and manageable. Doubt that Hayato will choose her, but she has a slim chance.

Y'know, s***-talking aside, Kikka isn't wrong about the girls.

Aside from being Quintessential Quintuplet rejects, Riho DOES look sus when you consider she tried to seduce Hayato using Shiragiku. And she's also the Nino of the group. Akane does look the scary type up close, but I'll give Kikka half credit given Akane's business and family connections. NTM she's just a knockoff Ichika.

Aki is just a discount Yotsuba, and Shiragiku is just a discount Miku when she's not drunk.
